Library projects

One of the most significant issues of this project is skills development, regarding the selection of information. A further aim of the project is to develop reading culture with the help of programs popularizing library use among students and other age groups. The programs for the development of reading culture are as follows: “Read with your children, to your children, for your children” aiming at the age group of 3-8; “Conquer the world of books” for 8-14-year old children. The third program is for students: “Read to become an intellectual. The aim of the program targeting students "Let's learn together" is to develop the skills and techniques of searching for information. We have compiled the necessary user manual drafts. Our colleagues are taking part in language courses: 1 in general German, 2 in general English and 2 in special English and 1 in special German courses. Within this project we have launched some new services (newsletter, RSS, online book offers) and it enables us to make our portal multilingual.
